Pupils in Osh need help

About Beneficiary

Our Foundation visited Osh city,  Mickhail Frunze secondary school No. 24. The object that we plan to do is to help to repair the toilet inside the building. The school was built in the last century. 886 pupils study here, not counting teachers. For over 50 years, the school has not had normal sanitary conditions. It is no longer possible to use an existing courtyard toilet due to physical hazard. School Director Dano Abduvahabova has made every effort to find finance and mobilize stakeholders. Thanks to her perseverance and activity, the school managed to attract the attention of several external private sponsors who will make a donation to this project.

About Application

There were a lot of effort and options to solve this problem. As a result, all participants came to the conclusion that it is more expedient and more economical not to build a separate toilet in the yard, but to make a major overhaul of the former toilet inside the building, restore the existing sewage system, lay a new pipeline, run water with a heater and install new plumbing. Thus, students and teachers will live their everyday life at school in improved sanitary conditions.

About the contribution to the project

The fund provides assistance and buys all the necessary building materials and other resources. The total cost of the project is up to 1 132 000 soms. The amount of payment for the project from our Foundation is 432,804 soms. We thank the Mol Bulak company represented by Bakhtiyar Tolbaev, and the region’s manager, Shafkat Tashkhodzhaev, for the active implementation of the project in order to solve this half-century-long task and help children live more comfortably.
