APAKE ORGANIZED THE MEETING OF ONCOLOGISTS FROM KYRGYZSTAN AND KAZAKHSTAN

Apake Foundation continues to undertake actions within the framework of Radiotherapy Center - our socially-oriented project. On May 19,  Apake  organized a working meeting with oncologists from the Interregional National Center of Oncology of Kyrgyzstan and Sunkar Oncology Center (Kazakhstan).

At the meeting, the parties discussed the situation of oncological diseases in the southern part of our country and the basic needs for treating patients. Colleagues-diagnosticians and radiologists from Kazakhstan shared their achievements in the field of modern radiological diagnostics and treatment of oncological diseases, and also spoke about the management of the complex infrastructure of the regional medical center.

After the working meeting at our Foundation, the heads of both medical clinics decided to hold a more extended meeting involving other practitioners from cancer centers in two cities, and visit the oncology centers in Osh and Almaty in the near future to further study the problem and to discover opportunities for mutual assistance in the treating needy patients from Kyrgyzstan.
